Wendy navigates complex antitrust and competition issues that arise during mergers, acquisitions and collaborations between competitors in a variety of industries.
A seasoned attorney, Wendy understands and enjoys handling complex antitrust and competition issues. Businesses, trade associations and other organizations – particularly within healthcare and allied sectors – rely on Wendy’s unique experience. She has collaborated on some of the nation’s most significant recent healthcare antitrust matters, including FTC and State of Idaho v. St. Luke’s Health System, which addressed integration and consolidation of healthcare providers in the wake of the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
She advocates on behalf of and advises clients who have antitrust enforcement actions and merger reviews before the U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division, the Federal Trade Commission and state attorneys general. She also counsels clients on a variety of antitrust-related issues, including mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures between competitors, Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) Act compliance, territorial and price restrictions, product distribution, resale price maintenance, minimum advertised price agreements, exclusionary practices and trade association activities. She also assists clients with trade compliance matters.

Prior to law school, she served as an advisor to the Clinton administration’s Office of Cabinet Affairs and worked at a healthcare nonprofit advocacy group.
