Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that Husch Blackwell associates Bo Mahr and Jennifer Pier have been appointed to officer positions with the Energy Infrastructure, Siting, and Reliability Committee (EISR) of the American Bar Association’s Section of Environment, Energy and Resources (SEER) for the 2022-23 year.
Mahr was appointed Chair by the new ABA SEER President; Pier was appointed as a Vice-Chair. The EISR “fosters the development of practical resources to address the challenges of modernizing and expanding the nation's energy infrastructure for both traditional and renewable energy sources, and of balancing competing interests in the siting process.” It has about 500 attorney members nationwide.
Mahr, based in the firm’s Kansas City office, is a member of the firm’s Energy & Natural Resources group and its Solar Energy, Wind Energy and Development & Tax Credits practices. Pier is based in Husch Blackwell’s Austin office and is a member of in the firm’s Corporate Real Estate, Real Estate Investment, its Solar Energy and Wind Energy teams.
