At the Department of Justice, Jonathan earned a reputation as a top white collar prosecutor and trial lawyer. Jonathan was a key member of multiple international healthcare fraud takedowns and prosecuted a series of high-profile financial crime cases. Jonathan prosecuted doctors, lawyers, pharmacists, executives, and even a pastor for white collar crimes during his time as a federal prosecutor, and was touted for his trial skills, with one federal judge calling Jonathan’s trial performance “masterful,” following a complex healthcare fraud trial. Jonathan also handled major civil investigations and litigation against companies and individuals under the False Claims Act, resulting in record-breaking settlements and judgments. For his work, Jonathan won some of the highest honors bestowed upon federal prosecutors by the DOJ and FBI.
